STORING PERSONAL ITEMS IN AN AIRSTREAM INTERSTATE

Thus far, this is is the best product I have found on the market today for storing personal items such as reading material, book reading light, eyeglasses, sunglasses, Chapstick, TV remote, cell phone, medications, tissues, flashlight, handgun (maybe), keys, ear plugs, and any other small item that you just don't know where to set down in the limited space within an Airstream Interstate.  This product is very useful particularly for those items that you'd like to keep near your bed at night.
The bed caddy available at Bed Bath and Beyond.  I haven't been able to find one like it at any other retailer.
We haven't owned our Interstate for long enough to know where we do and do not want to punch permanent holes or install permanently-mounted objects.  Therefore, I deploy this caddy as a removable, stowable device that I set out for use when the vehicle is stopped.
It's a little bit wider than ideal, but the colors are utterly perfect.  It does fold in half for stowage.
Right now I am using a temporary, un-fixed mounting rack that works like this.
It's a wall storage rack for a men's racing bicycle.  I had an extra one laying around our garage.

Flipping the bike rack upside down and positioning it on the back off the caddy, I can simply wrap the velcro straps around the frame that would normally attach to a wall.
Like this.  The part that will then hang on the side of the kitchen cabinet is coated in a thick layer of rubber, so that it will not scratch the surface of the countertop extension.
I may devise a custom mounting bracket that will allow me to more easily fold this in half when stowing, but this arrangement works quite nicely for the time being.

As usual, this is a noncommercial post presenting personal opinions only.  No retailer has furnished any consideration for being cited.
