After researching this issue, I settled upon the
Lynk Over Cabinet Door Hook for outfitting our
Airstream Interstate with additional convenient hanging options that do not involve drilling holes or using major adhesives. As of this post, they were overpriced on both Amazon and Walmart, but Target was offering a set of four for $14.99 with free shipping.

Edge of my galley. Absolutely perfect. I am going to use three of these as an improved hanging mechanism for my bedside caddy which is currently mounted rather clumsily on a bicycle rack. |

Check your measurements to see if they will work in your vehicle. In our 2007 Interstate, they fit perfectly over (1) the galley counter edge guard, (2) the wardrobe door, (3) the lower galley cabinet doors, and (4) the wet bath door. They are made of metal with a satin metal finish, so the style works well. |
Here is what makes these the most desirable choice among the relatively rare offerings in the "cabinet hook" consumer category.
|
They have a scratch-resistant dense foam lining all the way down the backs of them where they make contact with the door wood. The competing cabinet hook product (shown on the left) which is the Umbra Schnook sold at The Container Store, only has padding over part of the hook back. You know as well as I do that the Umbra hook would scratch the heck out of any cupboard door in a moving, jiggling RV. I could add a strip of foam to the back of the Umbra, but why not just buy one that already has it? |
As usual, this is a noncommercial post providing personal opinions only. No retailer has provided any consideration in exchange for being cited.

This is what the package looked like. |
